Over the years, my taste in shoes has evolved, so have my shoe shopping habits. One thing remains: shoes are most certainly an addiction and where some people like to eat their feelings, I tend to veer towards a brand new pair of shoes to make everything better. Despite the “Robot” in my blog name, I do feel my feelings on a regular basis, which means my shoe collection is pretty vast. Heels? You name it, I have it. Ankle boots? Check. Statement flats? Check and check. Trainers? Hell yeah! Some pairs, however get more love than others, simply because they work with everything. Every year, I buy a new pair of crisp white Superga for Spring and Summer for example. They work with everything, are comfortable enough to stomp around all day while being also chic enough to take you anywhere. That’s why I am very excited to be working with Superga on this post!
To celebrate the announcement of the new face of Superga for Spring/Summer 2015, I took my new beloved shoes to Los Angeles for a good spot of stomping around. I have been here only a week so far and we’ve already been on so many adventures together, from street art walks to pedal boating, cool coffee shops and beach bumming. Starting from SS15, Superga is teaming up with Nashville native supermodel and all-around fashion influencer Binx Walton who is bringing her unique and edgy sense of style to the brand. You know how I love a great twist on a classic style… Well it doesn’t get any hotter than that, really. Plus, come Autumn/Winter, four styles will be released as a design collaboration between Binx and Superga. Judging by the success of the brand’s previous collaborations, I predict this one won’t stay on the shelves for long! You read it here first!
