When you become a mum, you essentially make a little forever friend. The tiny human you carried for nine months quickly becomes your best pal and adventure companion. This is what Mini is to me and this is what I am to my own mum (even though I am now taller than her). One of the cool perks that come with being a mamma is Mother’s Day. It is basically like a second birthday that nobody ever forgets, because nobody leaves baby mummy in the corner. This Sunday the 30th is Mother’s Day here in the U.K. and so Mini and I have got together to create a little photoshoot in collaboration with Swarovski (remember Multiface(t)s, the book I wrote for them?).
After looking through the website, Mini and I set our sights on the Arty collection because we are both 50% magpie and I really liked the Art Deco style of the range. Spending a few hours with Mini putting together a photoshoot was a real treat and a bit of an early Mother’s Day present in itself and she was so happy to be able to present me with all these presents without having to get help from her dad. I think she may even try to steal the Arty Bracelet from me as she talks A LOT about it! Clearly she has taste…
I don’t know whether you have already found the perfect present for your mum, but I suggest you have a look at the Swarovski website, there are lots of different options on there. Have a look below for more pics of the Arty collection, which was my pick!
