This goes back quite a while, to days where bare legs were still an option. Aaaah – well: since I am off to Miami on Wednesday, I am pretty happy that bare legs are once again an option in the near future. This outfit may well come with me. This flannel skirt was a gift from the lovely people at Alice’s Pig and is entirely out of my comfort zone. The print is super loud and bright, the shape isn’t what I would normally go for and even the fabric isn’t something I would normally consider, but for some reason, as a whole it sort of works. And it was my choice to have this skirt rather than any other item in their lookbook! Rather than styling it in a very vintage way (I’ve done all that, don’t want to do it anymore), I thought I’d try something a little more “me” and so I went with a crazy bag lady outfit topped with a biker jacket.
