Monsieur Robot’s Edit – Hervia AW13

I spend A LOT of my time internet shopping. I know that’s not a new thing but compared to women I still hear a lot of men complaining about shopping online and how inconvenient it is. Most retailers have ironed out all the problems by now with incredibly easy returns policies and detailed product information making shopping from the comfort of your own home a no brainer. But another problem that a seasoned internet shopper like myself has noticed  is that some of the large international online stores are expanding their offerings with every new season – making the shopping experience a lot more difficult to navigate. An online store, much like a retail outlet, is curated by the buyer. The labels, designers and clothes should be carefully selected to compliment each other or to reflect the tastes and pre-empt the desires of the shopper, and that is increasingly rare.  is one such retailer and is my first stop when shopping online. The store offers a well thought out range of designers featuring some of my favourites such as Rick Owens, Damir Doma, and Comme Des Garcons.  Hervia also stock emerging designers and is one of the few British retailers to stock our home-grown design talent like Sibling and Gareth Pugh. Browsing the site feels more like nosing around a really stylish mans wardrobe than shopping. So as it’s nearly Christmas – check out my Hervia edit below. You never know who’s reading eh?
