As usual, when everyone (including me) starts getting excited about Christmas, I also get excited about my birthday (on the 18th I will be 31).
Here is my dream wish list anyway, who knows, it might inspire you when you go shopping for your friends and family!
Jurgen Teller Go-Sees - I bought it when it first came out and lost it in one of many moves. It is now extremely hard to find apparently and I long for it back.
Most beautiful bag ever from Bagonia. I have been lusting after these for a long time now.
The Rio glasses from Prism. These have been in my bookmarks pretty much since the website launched and I finally accepted the fact that I NEED a second pair of glasses.
This dress from TBA, which is fast becoming one of my favourite brands. The navy version is only available from Urban Outfitters.
A Bunny lamp and an Owl money bank because you can never have too many animal themed objects at home.
I also need:
- a whole bunch of tights from Tabio
- Enchanted on DVD
- everything from Monki
- Laura Mercier Rich Perfecting Water
And approximately a million books that are all on my Amazon Wish List!
What have you asked Santa? What are you giving your friends/family?

What an amazing christmas list. If you get anyone one of those things you will be a very lucky lady! And happy birthday for the 18th i hope you get some of this lovely stuff!

My birthday is the 8th, and Enchanted and lots of tights are on my list, too!
ReplyDeleteNice list. Your B-day's coming up soon! Hey, did you listen to my record? 31 huh? I'll be 30 soon. Any advise ;)
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas list is great! I've also got a huge list of fashion history books on my wish list at Amazon so hopefully I'll have loads of reading to do in the New Year. I devour books like this. :)
ReplyDeleteI've also bought mainly 'vintage' for my friends and family this year. At least for those I know will appreciate it. Some vintage Tiger Eye cuff links (from my 6 year old daughter) to her daddy. A beautiful 1950's bracelet with the original case for my twin sister.
In the summer I came across a lovely 1950's china tea set. This will be a gift for my best friend who loves afternoon tea and cake! As you can imagine, I've had to wrap it extremely carefully and the box is huge! It didn't cost very much but it's way impressive AND very hard to let go!
Finally, I've also treated myself to some fabulous 1950's jet and rhinestone sparkly earrings - the perfect finishing touch to any Christmas party outfit. Can't wait to wear them. :)
Is this a big hint to your boyfriend perhaps! (i.e. me)

Happy Early Birthday!!
ReplyDeleteI made a polyvore visual list for Santa on my blog this morning.
Friends and family are mainly getting homemade jams, chutneys, etc. and unusual books and vintage finds. We are doing a joint gift to some charities we love in lieu of expensive gifts this year & just giving fun small gifts. The kids are getting lots of loot though - it is so much fun toy shopping!!
How bizarre! I wrote my christmas list today before I had seen yours and I have put 3 of the same things on mine. A very odd coincidence!
ReplyDeletewow, MR, my birthday is on the 18th too! Happy B'day in advance!
