What I am wearing / A rare sighting of jeans

It feels almost totally pointless to me to show you an outfit involving jeans, as they are the "easy/no style" option for me. I don't really wear jeans that much anymore, first because I can't really find a shape I like and suits me really well and also because I am a bit over the casual look that comes with them. As I get older, I want to look a bit more polished but I can't make jeans look polished. Some girls can, not me.
Sometimes though, you can't beat the combination of a leather jacket and skinnies. Zero points for originality, but they just feel right. And I just can't get over how much I love this jacket. I had been looking for a nice black biker jacket for ages and ages, but couldn't find a vintage one that had the right fit, so I had to turn to the high street for help. This reminds me I have to tell you something about the high street very soon.

I also wanted to apologise for the lack of "real" content at the moment, I seem to be spending my time running around town like a loon, going from press day to event to meeting to my desk, with no time to actually write about anything. I have 17 posts sitting on the shelf, waiting to be written and read by you.

I was in the Times today, illustrating an article by Marcus Leroux about Arcadia's bloggers event.

  6. jeans and a black jacket will take you just about anywhere you want to go. and if they don't let you in, well you probably didn't want to be there anyway. i'm really liking the console behind you though...

  11. The jacket is fab! Wish I could carry off the studs, but don't think it's very me... mind you, wouldn't want to be copying you ;-) Have seen another fab jacket on the Miss Selfridge website that I'm going to have to try on at some point.

Great news on getting your pic in a quality national paper too.
