A rare sighting of jeans

It feels almost totally pointless to me to show you an outfit involving jeans, as they are the “easy/no style” option for me. I don’t really wear jeans that much anymore, first because I can’t really find a shape I like and suits me really well and also because I am a bit over the casual look that comes with them. As I get older, I want to look a bit more polished but I can’t make jeans look polished. Some girls can, not me.
Sometimes though, you can’t beat the combination of a leather jacket and skinnies. Zero points for originality, but they just feel right. And I just can’t get over how much I love this jacket. I had been looking for a nice black biker jacket for ages and ages, but couldn’t find a vintage one that had the right fit, so I had to turn to the high street for help. This reminds me I have to tell you something about the high street very soon.

I also wanted to apologise for the lack of “real” content at the moment, I seem to be spending my time running around town like a loon, going from press day to event to meeting to my desk, with no time to actually write about anything. I have 17 posts sitting on the shelf, waiting to be written and read by you.

I was in the Times today, illustrating an article by Marcus Leroux about Arcadia’s bloggers event.
