How I Wear - Printed Trousers in Los Feliz

With just over a week to go before I return to Los Angeles, it is now time for me to share with you the fourth and last outfit from my L.A. exploration series. Don't worry though, there will be many more sunny posts coming to you straight from California soon enough. I may even make California the next month's star... It would be about time too. In the meantime, today I am taking you to Los Feliz, where our very own Louniverse has recently moved. These photos were taken on her roof terrace (yet another reason why Los Angeles is far superior to London).

Los Feliz is Silverlake's neighbour and also on my list of top places in L.A. - it is walkable and the home of many restaurants and attractions. Much like Silverlake, it was home to many actors in the early days of Hollywood and the history of the area is rich with interesting anecdotes. If you are interested in local history, I recommend you read "Silverlake Chronicles: Exploring an Urban Oasis" by Michael Locke. Although it is about Silverlake, it also touches on Los Feliz and is generally a good tool to better understand how these areas came to be.
