How I Wear - My Coach Swagger Bag

I have explored the idea of a daily uniform here many times, even listing my "couldn't live without" basics. I feel my outfit posts reflect my style quite accurately, giving plenty of air time to my wardrobe essentials. I was telling a friend about my closet organisation the other day, explaining everything was colour coded, which is a pretty easy task when you own mainly black, white and denim pieces. The only issue when wearing simple pieces is that your daily uniform can quickly blend into everyone else's daily uniform... Which isn't exactly my idea of style. Personal style should help define who you are and project your personality into the world. To sum it up, it is all about "swagger" - not the ostentatious kind, just the calm and confident one. What's more stylish than truly owning your style? Not much.

I suppose you could say my own personal "swagger" comes from a collection of statement accessories and the way I make them mine. Take for example my new Coach "Swagger" bag: it is a beautiful timeless bag, but I personalised it with a bright leopard print scarf to match my style. I can change it based on my mood: to skulk around Shoreditch I went for bright leopard print, but on a different day, with a different plan, I could attach a pastel scarf, or ribbons... Sometimes I even pin brooches on the scarf for some extra style points.
