This to prove that I don't always just wear jeans and shirts... Sometimes I go out and sometimes my best friend turns 40 and I can't show up wearing the same old thing. So I wear culottes. I love culottes, always have, always will. They are mostly unflattering, repulsive to most men (including my husband) but they are basically skirts you can do cartwheels in, and although I can't do cartwheels, I like the idea that if I could - and I was wearing culottes - I would cartwheel my way around town without anyone ever catching a glimpse of my pants.
So here is what I wore on a cold October evening to go and party at the Gin Palace with a bunch of pals.
