Daisy Knights surfs, she skateboards, she loves dogs (especially her own chihuahua/poodle cross, Ace Ventura Pet Detective) and she’s been passionate about designing jewellery since she was 11… She is basically a girl crush waiting to happen so it didn’t really come as a surprise when back in March Olay picked her as an ambassador for their Olay Essentials Glow Perfectors range. When you meet Daisy, she does have that magical glow – she is cool, smiling and extremely friendly. She made us feel instantly at home in her Cotswolds nest.
The plan of the day was of course to get to know Daisy better in order to properly understand the collaboration between her and Olay Essentials Glow Perfectors, but also to design bespoke jewellery in her workshop, a rare treat. We got to design a pair of earrings with her trademark charms and a necklace bearing the charm she designed especially for Olay Essentials Glow Perfectors. That is because the range got a hot Summer makeover courtesy of Daisy. Her exclusive Limited Edition designs bring the beach to your dressing table this SS14. Basically, together they will give you skin that glows on and on… And on!

All we had left to do was to engrave our charms and stick them on the earrings… Mine say “Brak” and “XO”
Then it was time to make a necklace using the sunshine charm – you can see it here and also on the Olay Essentials Glow Perfectors packaging.
I think it goes perfectly with the rest of my necklace party.
As for the Olay Essentials Glow Perfectors range, I started using it this morning in the hope I can keep my Summer glow for a little while longer! I’ve used the “Everyday Sunshine Light Sunkissed Glow” (moisturiser with a touch of self-tanner – and SPF!) and when I am finally ready to wear make-up again, I am very much looking forward to wearing the BB Cream from the range. So far I tested it and the texture is super light and penetrates really well – this might be the BB Cream that finally gets me into BB Creams!
