Safe to say I wear an awful lot of black – even in the Summer months. My favourite hashtag in this heat would possibly be #gothsinhotweather. Most my handbags adhere to the same rule of “black or nothing” – I say “most of them” as I know full well you have seen me on here carrying rather colourful arm candy. The ideal bag to me is small, black and can be worn cross-body. I also like stuffing it full of things me or Mini deem essential: camera, plastic dinosaur, lip balm, candy, a gameboy, seven Little Pet Shop characters and perhaps if I am lucky enough I can still fit my keys, wallet and phone… I realise this sounds like mission impossible unless I suddenly decide to play for Team Tote Bag.
Enter , aka my new boyfriend, aka small & mighty: due to its shape, I can fill it to the brim with all important things, I can wear it cross-body AND handily turn it into a clutch for the evening and well as you can see it is black (). It is quite funny how we fall in love everyday with accessories…
