Following my resolution from last season, I am avoiding all things Fashion Week this season. It feels great to take a break and I really think I made the right decision. Of course the nature of my job doesn’t really allow me to completely disconnect from what’s happening on the catwalk, but I don’t need to physically be present. So if you fancy discovering all the things that caught my eye so far, I urge you to head over to my Pinterest, where I created a board dedicated entirely to the AW14 shows. Later in the year, I will create another body shape series focusing on AW14.
Instead of heading to Somerset House, I hopped on the Eurostar to Paris with Mini yesterday. I have some work here this week and I also plan on some much needed quality time with my Parisian family and friends. This is another wonderful thing about not attending Fashion Week: everyone is so busy with the shows, I get to focus on other projects and get on with stuff I don’t normally have time to do.
La Fashion Week est morte, vive la Fashion Week!
