48 Hours in Vienna with Omega

Last weekend, I flew to Vienna for Omega’s “Nuit Enchantée” to celebrate the launch of the new models of Ladymatic watches and their new global advertising campaign. Having travelled a lot recently, I left London feeling a little grumpish – but this was forgotten as soon as I checked in at the Ritz-Carlton in Vienna. From the moment I put my case down in my suite, I knew I was in for a magical weekend.
After a quick trip to the hotel spa to get my hair sorted out, I retreated back to my room to prepare for the evening’s festivities. The dress code of black tie and evening dress sent shivers down my spine but after much deliberation, I decided it was time to wear my Luella wedding dress again.
I am wearing: Luella dress, asos biker jacket & shoes, Jay Ahr clutch

The gala dinner took place at the Palais Liechtenstein where we all felt humbled by the luxurious decor

Before dinner we were treated to a little waltz… When in Vienna… I think by this time both Emily’s and my jaw had dropped to the floor.
The dinner was as scrumptious as you can imagine… So was our brunch at Café Sacher the next day
And did I mention I was stalked by cake?
Enough about me, though. This trip was all about the new Omega Ladymatic watch and its ambassadress, the wonderful Nicole Kidman (who, by the way is my new girl crush). The Ladymatic is no ordinary watch: created in the 1950’s, it was the first chronometer watch for women. Its fluid design was inspired by the female form and features a wave pattern on different parts of the watch (including the dial and bracelet) to give it this extra touch of femininity and beauty. The mother of pearl dials come in black or white with 11 diamond-set indexes in facetted 18K white gold diamond-shaped holders.

Our visit ended with a little trying on session. Below are my three favourite models. The rose gold with diamonds all over is the most gorgeous thing that ever graced my wrist. I am still swooning when I think about it.
