A new super easy DIY to start the year, this time in collaboration with Uniqlo Cashmere and Andrea Crews. The Parisian collective has made a collection of cute badges sold exclusively in Uniqlo. There is also an Andrea Crews x Uniqlo collaboration that’s currently sold in Colette in Paris (I may well go have a look there this afternoon). I was sent the badges and this pretty pink cashmere jumper by Uniqlo earlier this month and asked to customise… Here are the results.
Here are my Andreas Crews badges, trying to blend in with the Christmas decorations on my tree. Can’t blame them, they are a pretty festive bunch.
Since this is the easiest DIY ever, all you need to recreate this is: a jumper (mine is a Uniqlo cashmere crew neck), Andrea Crews patches (I have all five), some pins and an iron.
Pick where you want the badges to sit on your jumper and pin them in place – I’ve chosen to add interest to the neckline.
Turn your jumper inside out and iron the patches for 10-15 seconds so that they stick to the jumper. You can leave it for a little longer (maybe a few seconds) but be careful not to burn the wool.
Voilà! A very special jumper and your own little piece of the Uniqlo x Andrea Crews collaboration.
