Who’s Next Pret A Porter Paris – Day Three

Today I am dedicating my Who’s Next post to two Danish brands I follow with an almost religious fervour. I am definitely partial to Scandinavian fashion, I like the wearability, accessibility and the minimalistic scandi-cool factor. The only fashion weeks I can still stomach these days take place in Stockholm and I would love to go to Copenhagen Fashion Week soon as well (hint, hint people).
Traduction – L’article d’aujourd’hui est dédié à deux marques danoises que je suis quasi-religieusement. J’ai un goût très prononcé pour les marques Scandinaves, j’aime leur minimalisme cool et chic.

You should have seen me while I was talking to one of the designers from Ganni on their stand at Who’s Next: I was smiling from ear to ear, drinking in the brand’s ethos and its inspiration. New York preppy, slightly hipster, always looking towards the past and with a very nonchalant attitude towards fashion. You had me at preppy. I am particularly taken with the texture of the pink bouclé wool coat, especially when worn together with palm print trousers. The shoes all made it on my SS13 wish list.

Won Hundred’s SS13 collection is titled “Theory of the Universe” which is quite fitting considering they are making me consider taking my closet through the Big Bang. The line is very eclectic with mainly muted colours, boxy shapes and flawy fabrics. Say no more, I am about to faint. They also managed to create something that looks like the perfect biker jacket, totally rivalling the ubiquitous Acne Rita and well… a bit less ubiquitous. The knitwear is all very intricate and lovely and reminded me of some Dagmar pieces (which is pretty much the Holy Grail of Scandi-knits).
