Buon giorno! Guess who’s back from Italy? Oh yes, Firenze4ever was without a doubt one of the most fun events I’ve ever attended. The best bloggers from all over the world, some of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten (hello rabbit gnocchi!), Madonna, Mercedes Benz cars, a new Karl Lagerfeld label launch party and a ‘fashion super hero’ theme – all hosted by my favourite shop Luisa Via Roma…what more could you want? Luisa Via Roma is one of those websites I use for window shopping all the time (browser windows obviously) – they’ve got an amazing selection of menswear, so when offered the opportunity to take some of those clothes and style them on a model I jumped at the chance. I’d never been to Italy before, despite being obsessed with everything Italian from food to artists and film directors. I fell head over heels in love with Florence – what a beautiful city. Don’t even get me started on the gelato. I styled two looks, this is the first one. My concept was to capture the glamour of some of the Italian men I saw on the trip, throw in a few of my favourite designers and also create something that I’d wear myself.
