I Love Food – The Electric Brasserie

Join me for a fancy brunch at The Electric Brasserie

Funnily enough, as I write this post, I just got back home from a breakfast meeting at the Electric Brasserie (it’s my local, what do you expect?). I first went there for some press launch or other a few years ago, not in the actual brasserie, but upstairs at Electric House (part of the Soho House group). Now I live approximately 2mn walk from there, it has become somewhat of a fixture in my life. Shame they don’t have wifi or I’d be living there.

Like any other place on Portobello Road, it is royally busy at the weekend so if you fancy a lovely brunch, go early, especially if you want to sit outside as there are only very few tables. Food is fresh and tasty and I have a soft spot for the avocado and poached egg on sourdough bread. If you have a sweet tooth, the French toast is also pretty delicious.
