London Fashion Week - Body AMR

Words and photographs - Catherine Sprunt

The Body AMR show seemed to have a little bit of everything, with a startling number of pieces to suit all tastes.

The collection started with bodycon pieces in neutral tones with draped detailing, followed by floaty dresses carrying winter's cape trend through to spring. Cocktail dresses with 70s inspired sleeves morphed into Grecian draping worn as dresses and tops over slouchy trousers.

Wispy evening gowns were beautiful, with sheer, sparkling sheaths worn over sequin bodycon dresses gave way to trompe l'oeil fantasy pieces modelled by Amber Rose, stealing the show with a strobe-lit entrance.

Models rocked biker-chic up-dos, apart from Daisy Lowe who inexplicably sported her trademark tousled hair and 70s fringe. The whole show was set to an old skool soundtrack with the likes of Salt 'n' Peppa blaring over the speakers which had everyone - including the models - dancing along.
