Hi guys!
I kinda got married this weekend (you know, no biggie) so I am taking a little break for a couple of days.
In the meantime, you can use the comments below to tell me what your wedding was like, and if you are not married, what your dream wedding would be!
I will tell you all about mine as soon as I am back.

Congratulations!!! Mine was in Paris, with a few of my friends and family from the states who flew in to celebrate with us. It was an intimate group, maybe 55 people, but I wouldn't have done it any differently.
ReplyDeleteHope yours was magical.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I hope all went beautifully and that you kicked that volcano's ass!

My dream wedding ingredients:
1 early autumnal twilight in NYC
1 Roof of the Soho Grand Hotel at sunset with the city lights at backdrop
1 bespoke Alberta Ferretti dress
1 Roman golden laurel wreath pinched from the Met Museum's Classical wing
1 Pomeranian wearing some sort of outfit bearing enormous Harry Winston rings
50 closest friends and family
sigh...if only.
xx
Oh, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I got married on a staircase, quoted Pablo Neruda and The Princess Bride, and it was just lovely.
CONGRATS!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy dream wedding would be by the sea in New Zealand (where I'm from), with a lot of kayaking and hiking on the days either side. Lots of seafood, mismatched plates, and no shoes. :)
Yay, so happy for you guys! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI haven't got married yet, but I imagine it on a hilltop with lots of champagne and flowers. I don't know why, I doubt this is ever going to happen as my boyfriend has quite bad hayfever...

Love and Happiness Always and Congratulations!!! Well, Dream wedding... a small one with family & friends. Then a round the world honeymoon :)x
ReplyDeleteOh, and metallic macaroons! How could I forget the metallic macaroons?
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Hope you had a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteMine would be in a big marquee in the country with all my friends and family. I'd be wearing the Viktor and Rolf bow-covered dress they designed for that princess. And I'd walk down the aisle to Pachelbel's Canon. Actual husband optional.

Congratulationsssss! Great day for it. I hope it was perfect and can't wait to see pics!
ReplyDeleteI am not married. If I were to get married, I'd do it in the tiny medieval town in Yorkshire where I'm from. Lots of haunted pubs and ancient woods. (I was actually born overlooking the woods.) So, hot summer day, on the top of a hill, procession through the town to a ghosty pub afterwards to toast by lamplight.
Gosh, I'm a romantic and didn't even know it. Congratulations again.

Congratulations! I look forward to hearing about your exciting day!
ReplyDeleteMany happy returns! For some reason, your big day totally whooshed by me and I didn't get to wish you a proper "happy wedding". So here it is! :3
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I hope it was a beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and best wishes!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Can't wait to see what you wore! I'm in the middle of planning a English country garden/mini festival weekend type shindig - bunting is a must - but no idea what I'm going wear yet...
ReplyDeleteCongrats! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm about to get married, too... so I've got nothing to say for now!
Congratulations! I'd like to get married in some nice victorian style ball-room..or in Las Vegas...In a victorian style-ballroom in Las Vegas. That's it.
omg!congratulations!!I am planning mine, as it's going to be very soon, on the 24th of June!I'm so excited and I'm planning big celebrations indeed!I love to party!!!
ReplyDeleteMine would be in the snow with an entourage of white bunnies, foxes and kittens and a grey vintage lace dress *sigh :)
ReplyDeleteWow, can't wait to hear more about yours xoxo

Congratulations! I'm sure it was a lovely affair. My husband and I had a very small ceremony in Berkeley and finished it off with champagne and cupcakes! For our reception, it was mostly friends in a small hall. We had various kinds of appetizers and desserts with 3 different kinds of locally brewed beers and even more delicious cupcakes! Can't wait to see your charming wedding photos!
ReplyDeleteoh congratulations !
ReplyDeleteI'm not married yet, my dream wedding would be to go to vegas and have a simple no fuss wedding. No worrying about who to invite or meeting everyone elses needs. Then throwing a party when we got back.
I hope you had your dream wedding and it was amazing x
OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! HAVE FUN.
ReplyDelete:)
Congratulations! Blog weddings make me all voyeuristic - I can't wait to see the dress!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to the Carribean with four friends and our baby boy. I will be wearing a cream lace mini dress over a bikini and he will wear a straw fedora.

congratulations, best wishes for the years to come!
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see the pictures...
i'm not married, but i imagine my dream wedding to be an outside, country garden style, incredibly english event, with tea and cupcakes, bunting and wildflowers. maybe a giant picnic!
Hey L,
ReplyDeleteA big Congratulations to you lovely!!! Hope you have an awesome few days to yourself and your hubby. Looking forward to seeing shoes and dress pics!
Not married yet, but i'd probably throw in a mix of things into my big day, seeing as i have a Chinese heritage but am now residing in Greece.
Perhaps a Big, Fat (as in lots of food) Greek Chinese wedding, with lots of giggling, dancing & drinking with my closest friends and family!
Stayed in a beautiful place last summer in Kefalonia - Assos which was stunning, there was this tiny, beautiful church by the sea... sigh!
Sandee :))
ps found out who the framed Burmese Girl image is by - Sir Gerald Kelly!
congrats! to many years of bliss and happiness!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Laetitia!!! Wishing you many years of love and happiness.
ReplyDeleteMy wedding was two days after Christmas over seven and a half years ago!! Cole and I were very young and so in love. Our wedding was very traditional.
Lulu Letty
Congratulations L!!!
ReplyDeleteWishing you and the husband happiness, love and peace.

Congratulations Laetitia! I bet you looked stunning!!
ReplyDeleteYou probably know all about my wedding as it's all over Flickr but it was lovely - small and casual. I love being married xx
OMG je ne savais pas !! FELICITATIONS !!! tu as l air superbe !! et HEUREUSE !!!

ReplyDeleteIf I got married it'd have to be in Vegas by an Elvis impersonator!!

Oh how fabulous, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteMy dream wedding would involve a small, understated ceremony because I hate being stared at by loads of people, followed by a huge party with amazing food, lots of champagne and everything very posh and fancy! I don't like fruit cake, so I think my wedding cake would have to be a tower of cupcakes, and I'd skip the tradition of dancing first as frankly, I can't dance to save my life!
I hope your wedding was every bit as you hoped it to be!
Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing news, congratulations to you guys!! Cant wait to hear more details :)
ReplyDeleteHusband and I married in Las Vegas in the Grand Canyon, we had a helicopter take us into the canyon where they set up everything on the cliff, it was an out of body experience to be surrounded by such beauty in middle of the desert. It was just him and I, we celebrated afterwards at a fancy restaurant and when we returned home we threw a bash for family and friends. Best time of my life!
Wishing u both lifetime of laughter and happiness together!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding would be in a small sea side town, perhaps in an Art deco hotel and we would eat fish and chips followed by cream teas. Thats about as much as I know - I change my mind every five minutes so who knows.
I can't wait to hear all about yours, I hope it was the day of your dreams.
x
Congratulations!! How terribly exciting. Are you going to change now to Madame Robot rather than Mademoiselle? I'm not married seeing as I'm only 19, and am not sure really what type of wedding I want- something perhaps a bit traditional English (I like people's ideas of bunting and cupcakes) but I'd probably also quite like to get married in a wood dressed up like Titania. I don't know, too many possiblities!
ReplyDeleteA big massive congratulations! Can't wait to see your full wedding outfit, I'm so in love with your flowers head band.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I hope you're having a beautiful honeymoon!
ReplyDeleteMy dream wedding dress is something with Grecian pleats...and I think I would like a floral wreath in my hair.
congratulations! can't wait to hear about it.
ReplyDeleteall i know of what i would want mine to be is outside, a forest or a meadow, either in the spring with blooming flowers or in autumn with golden leaves. we will see!
Awww, I'm so happy for you! And your dress is amazing :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! You look so lovely. I'm not a wedding person at all but I can't get enough of seeing photos of low-key, pretty weddings so I'm kind of hoping you'll do a big picture-filled wedding post, hint hint. :)
ReplyDeleteMy dream wedding involves a pretty old dress, flowers in the hair (yours are perfect!), and a city hall, though I don't know if I'll be lucky enough to get away with that last bit.
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding will hopefully be in early Fall or Spring, and I've already designed a dress in my head (dusty rose or peach), but I don't like to think about it since i'm just 21 and I don't even have a boyfriend.
Congrats! :)
ReplyDeleteMy dream wedding would be outside in the afternoon, with lots of little white lights and flowers everywhere.
Congratulations to you both! You look lovely. I wish you lots of happiness for the future. :)
ReplyDeleteI got married in 1999 and it was quite a small affair with 50 friends and family to our marriage ceremony at Manchester register office. In the afternoon we had a gorgeous reception. It was all very elegant and civilised.
We then went on to have a huge party for the rest of our friends in the city. It just so happened to be after the total solar eclipse so there was a very special atmosphere and it was incredibly hot too!
It was the drum and base weekend at Castlefieds so we had a very lively, fun start to our marriage. It was an incredible weekend. Very special. :)
Finally found your blog! it was lovely meeting you at new look tv filming! Congrats on your wedding!
ReplyDeleteKirsty xxxxxx

ReplyDeleteOh my god, congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers in your hair are beautiful.
I'm not really that bothered about my wedding...I don't know why! I just want a beautiful dress I can boogie in, an intimate setting and the Smiths!

Congratulations!!! My wedding was similar - low key, great music, food, and friends in a beautiful setting near our home- and the right man;) I think the last bit is the most important part - enjoy married life!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Love that pic :D
ReplyDeleteJust read this. CONGRATULATIONS!! You look lovely in that pic.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Love your dress and your wedding philosophy. We got married with two friends as witnesses and then went to the Ritz for lunch. It was fab! Next year is our ten year wedding anniversary and we are planning to renew our vows and have a big party for family and friends who missed out the first time. And our three little boys will be there. Married life is the best!
