Paisley makes me think of two things: fortune tellers and crazy cat ladies. They both have an imagery that inspire me. Fortune tellers of course go with my carnivale/funfair obsession and crazy cat lady, well... it speaks for itself - granny outfits, clumsy layering and over the top twee accessories, three things often found in my daily outfits. So maybe if I had to pinpoint my style, I could say "crazy cat lady".
Below is my latest experimentation of the genre, inspired by my paisley skirt from one of my favourite Etsy sellers, Clever Nettle.
Cardigan - H&M
Top - Monki
Skirt - Vintage from Clever Nettle
Lace bow hairclip - Urban Outfitters
In other news, for those of you who are interested, I added new items in my shop. Go have a look and grab yourself something!

Anon - Thanks. I have just tried to make the font bigger, it would help if you could let me know what system your were on/what browser so I can fix the font size. It looks fine on my computer/browser so I wouldn't know.
ReplyDeleteAnon - Actually no need to tell me what system you are browsing on, I now found out through my stats and fixed the font size for Safari, so it should be bigger.
