Back in August, Olympus announced the launch of their brand new camera, the Olympus Pen EPL-7. As one of their ambassadors in the UK, one of my duties was to announce the new camera to the press and to demonstrate how I use it in my work. I basically am glued to my EP-5 all the time, so making the jump to the EPL-7 won’t be too traumatic I think. Anyway, I headed over to the Olympus Image Gallery in Liverpool Street one morning, with the mission to style two models with clothes from nearby boutique and then use them for my presentation. I won’t bore you with the details of the actual presentation as I plan on writing a full review of the EPL-7 as soon as it moves in with me, but I wanted to share with you the styling side of things because there were so many cute pieces in Glassworks. Consider this an outfit post of sorts, featuring two stunning ladies instead of little old me.
There are LOTS and LOTS of cool pieces in there at the moment, so it was quite hard to choose, but in the end I wanted to create two everyday looks so it helped narrowing my search down.
For the first look I wanted something feminine but a little rough around the edges. I kept the colour palette down to a minimum but had a little play around with prints and textures.
The second look was much more “me” and definitely something I could see myself wearing. No need to explain here!
