Colenimo SS13

Yesterday as I was making a post-lunch pitstop at local favourite boutique Couverture & The Garbstore, I was reminded of the ever lovely British brand Colenimo. The reminder was in the shape of a black silk sailor top that I decided not to try on, for fear of leaving the shop £200 lighter. You see I sometimes can be reasonable. Of course, most of the time, when I decide to be reasonable, I subsequently kick myself for months. For example, I am still kicking myself for not buying a dramatically discounted and perfectly oversized Céline coat while I was in Stockholm last Winter. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about this coat.
So this morning, obviously I am still thinking about yesterday’s sailor top, and I already styled it in my head with most of my wardrobe, in an attempt to justify parting with my hard-earned monies. While I was deliberating with myself, I started browsing the Colenimo website and of course now I want everything on it. I basically brought a curse on myself by being reasonable. Had I bought the top in the first place, I would be basking in its glory today and I wouldn’t have looked at the site. I blame designer  Aya Nakagawa for being so damn good.
I mean just look at these photos – how perfect.
