Mademoiselle Robot x H&M: Festival Style

As part of the ongoing activities surrounding the re-opening of H&M‘s brand new Oxford Circus Flagship, I was invited to style a series of festival looks to be displayed in store. Although I attended my fair share of festival in my party years, I am now a little more reserved when it comes to musical mud-fests and so I focus my attention on gatherings like ATP, Primavera or Sonar rather than the likes of Glastonbury and Reading. I suppose I could also be persuaded to go to Coachella, seeing as my love for Palm Springs knows no limits… Way back when, my favourite festival was Aquaplanning, in Hyères’ Villa Noailles, a now sadly defunct electronic music festival.
But back to the styling… I picked outfits I would personally wear in a perfect world. I went for a slightly smarter, more minimal version of festival looks, focusing on a statement piece per outfit and then building around it with strong basics and accessories. Basically, the idea was to avoid the cliché festival looks (floral headbands, feathers, fringing) while still use as many festival staples as I could (denim shorts, biker jackets, kimonos). I am very happy with the results and so, so proud to see them in store!
I hope you will like them too!
Traduction – J’ai composé quelques silhouettes sur le thème des festivals d’été pour H&M. Ces looks sont en ce moment visibles dans leur boutique à Oxford Circus.

Thank you Alexis for sending all the photos!
