I Love Food – The Riding House Café, London

You know how I write about hotels when I stay somewhere nice? Well since I send most my free time (and some of my working hours too) eating in lovely restaurants, I figure I could start sharing that with you too. Cos sharing is caring, right? So here comes “I Love Food”, a new category on the blog.
For my first post on the topic, I chose The Riding House Café which I went to for a meeting a few days ago and is also one of my favourite eateries in London… I wasn’t sure what to make of it when it first opened as it is located in a strange spot that has seen many different restaurants fail to find their customers, but the RHC soon proved it was different. Once you set foot in there you are transported to a mysteriously perfect city that takes the best of London, Paris and New York and turns it into a relaxing brasserie. Service is impeccable, food is tasty, there is just the right amount of brouhaha to make it lively while still being able to hold a conversation.
If you decide to go there on a weekend (or anytime really) I suggest you book ahead as it gets quite busy in there and I don’t know about you, but when I am hurry, I don’t really like to wait at the bar for 20 mn, even if I am sipping on a cocktail.
