I travel, I travel a lot. For work or pleasure, I don’t care as long as I am on the move. For this (and many other things), I am a typical Sagittarius. There is nowhere too far to gallop to. Last year, I went on about 17 press trips and a few holidays, which means I spent approximately half of 2011 outside England. So far, 2012 is going pretty much the same way.
All this to say, when Samsonite contacted me to say they wanted to send me one of their Firelite cases to take with me on my travels, I said “hell yeah!”. The case weighs only 2.9 kg, which means I can pack even more shoes – and since I like my heels chunky, the kilos are precious. Dang it even has a TSA lock built in, that alone would have filled my heart with joy.
That is not all, oh no, that is not all: at the moment, Samsonite are hosting the “Around the World in 80 Clicks” competition (you can play here) and the lucky winner will receive €5000 of travel money. The others will get a chance to have their very own Firelite, as recommended by yours truly. What do I have to do with all that? Well, I am going to be taking the case with me on my upcoming trips to Florence, Paris, Trieste, Toulouse and Los Angeles and clock the miles in real life to attempt to win a prize of my own!
