Who likes short shorts? ME, that’s who. You will too by the time you get to the end of this post. I was going to talk about the weather but that’s boring and anyway you don’t need hot weather to wear shorts. Sure sitting in the park on a hot Summer day would be ideal, but there is currently some kind of torrential rainstorm in London. Not to worry, Franks Australia make shorts so nice I’m currently contemplating running outside and going for a swim in the massive puddle outside my house…
Maybe you still haven’t forgiven Australia for forcing Dannii Minogue upon the world, I can’t say I blame you, but Franks more than makes up for it. With a range of shorts that mimic the seasons hottest fabrics, textiles and patterns, they have totally nailed how to look good on the beach. If you’re lucky enough to be going somewhere sunny for holiday then you’ll no doubt be panicking about how you’ll look on the beach. When an entire outfit boils down to just one item then you really need to make sure it’s perfect. Franks geometric patterns and soft pink chambray style designs are the answer.
I’ve been lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the SS12 collection and it’s gorgeous. I’m going to need a gym membership at this rate… If you need more convincing then get a load of the lookbook models…
