The Emporio Armani & Giorgio Armani collections couldn’t be more different. Emporio was reminiscent of the film noir era with dark 40’s inspired silhouettes and subtle embellishments (well Armani subtle, we are not talking Jil Sander minimalism here). Giorgio’s pieces came straight from the boudoir. Perhaps the Emporio woman could, in the privacy of her own home become a softie and embrace the dusky pinks of her secret Giorgio cupboard?
I am totally blabbering about the clothes, but I am not actually showing you the clothes today. I wanted to start by the accessories as they were what caught my eye first at the showroom. There is a pretty epic collection of flat shoes – epic flats are quite the winners if you ask me, much harder to come by than great heels. The bags made my wallet tingle and I started to count how many organs I could safely sell to get my mitts on one of the suede box bags.
