London Fashion Week - Ones to Watch

Lilee

Lilee's collection featured incredibly clean lines in the freshest of whites, only broken by a scattering of darker coloured pieces and some geometric print dotted here and there. The designer's emphasis on structure is clear in the folds and draping of the pieces, which varied between sharp tailored suits, crisp separates and a sweeping, diaphanous sheath worn with a bodycon dress underneath.

Charlotte Taylor

Charlotte Taylor's collection was very suitable for my first day at fashion week, as it felt like a back-to-school collection, complete with a sweet playsuit, cheeky robot prints, and bold crayon colours throughout. The stylist's addition of ribbed ankle socks and a variety of boots and sandals only added to the effect.

Georgia Hardinge

Spring has sprung! Despite a few black and white, printed bodycon dresses and a handful of sheer, directional dresses, I was so uplifted to see summery blooms parading down the catwalk at Georgia's show. The opening dress, a breathtaking, white, flowery-appliqué (complete with matching headpiece) set the tone of the show for me, and I was happy to see more pieces in a similar vein in amongst the more 'serious' ensembles. The closing look, a floating Grecian gown in the softest yellow, is making me wish shearling boots and winter capes were already behind us!
