Something wickedly simple this way comes

Since I have been on the topic of age appropriate dressing this week, I thought I'd show you an example of total age inappropriatedness, but going the other way. Yes, most of the time I dress like 7 year old girl on her way to a private school in Switzerland, but sometimes I also go forward in time and embrace outfits my grandad would have been happy to wear (see also: dressing like a little granny).
I suppose if you average these two extremes I actually do dress my age.

Anyway, this is the sort of thing I wear when I want something very simple and warm (Can I Has Spring anyone?). Next time I will show you how you too can look like a sausage dog. Woof!

Silk tee-shirt, Trousers, Shoes - All Urban Outfitters
Cardigan - Vintage (mum's from the 70's - Shetland wool = warmest ever)

If you want more, you can head over to "The Musings of Ondo Lady" and read about my work space. A few of you have asked me to do more interiors posts so that should be a good read while I get everything ready!

I wrote a post about How Brands should connect with Bloggers that you can read here.

  5. I love this! I wear grandpa clothes too - mens trousers tied up tight around the waist and brogues. More people should!

The different greys look lovely together.

I love the way you dress. Even if it's at age 31!I hope at age 31 I look as damn good as you do. you always look so adorable or sophisticated. you always know what look you're going for and nail it. I love it!

I think you look amazing in whatever you wear...I just read the previous article, and let me just say that it takes a true person to be happy with who they are, and those who cant step out of society box will always criticize....Be you, be free, never follow the crowd :)

  11. Love the post, love the typewriter, love the cardi.

I think the whole age appropriate thing is interesting, purely as it's fresh in my mind from going to a masked ball over the weekend. I felt like I was a madam, I was so dressed! And have always dressed in a more demure manner, to me there is something so much more chic in layering. However the girls at the ball, albeit probably about 20 and I'm also 30, were confusing sexy with no clothes. I think it takes a lot more confidence to pull off a 'style' such as yours.

I guess this is less to do with age but appropriateness and to be honest style isn't age appropriate, it's age less.
