My perfect coat

I like to think a lot about what I buy. Especially if it is on the expensive side. I had my eye on this coat since it arrived in Liberty's in September. I needed a replacement for my old Primark coat and something that wouldn't be a vintage one. I wanted to own my first "grown-up" coat. One that would last me for the next 30 years. This Luella one was perfect. From the colour to the cut and embellishments, it is typically a piece that won't go out of fashion. The ultimate investment piece (even though I hate that term).
I went browsing in Liberty's on the first day of the sale, and miracle of miracle, there was one left in a size 12. It fit like a glove, so I promptly decided to spend all my Christmas money on it. It is without a doubt my best purchase of the year!

  1. So very tempted to steal it. Love the matching heart logo you made too.
Hmm my greatest extravagance is a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag I bought in summer 08. I hadn't been shopping for weeks due to my GCSES so had all my saturday job wages saved, and then I spotted it in Selfridges. :) Not the most practical size ever but it goes with everything.

  3. It is so so so lovely. I have never really spent anything extravagant on clothing. I would love to buy a really lovely miu miu bag though. Maybe when I get my first fulltime job.

  10. I LOVE that coat! I've lusted after it myself. The grey version is still available on Urban Outfitters....I'm SUPER broke after Chrimbo but am convincing myself it's an investment!

LOVE it, you look STUNNING! x

  11. Oh gosh, ha, that jacket is adorable. It reminds me of something one of those American Girl dolls would have worn—in the best way possible! I'm jealous of that bow in the back...!

    Happy New Year :)

  12. Ooooh, I love it! I think it's the red trim and shape of the collar that does it for me. So pretty!

  13. My extravagance must be that pair of blue skinny jeans that I bought for £30 at topshop once upon a time... That doesn't sound like much of an extravagance though really...

But oh my goodness, I want your coat, it's so perfectly quirky & cute!
