Susien Chong and Nic Briand created Lover based on what they loved and admired, making their designs full of a mish-mash of pop culture references without ever being overwhelming. Their clothing range is completely open to reinterpretation by whoever wears it, and this is precisely what I like about it. The Autumn/Winter collection is totally grown up without ever being too serious (like most of their creations actually) and fits perfectly with what I have been trying to achieve in my personal style for the past couple of years: something more grown up while still playful.

At the moment, if you are in the UK, you can buy Lover from Net à Porter. I really wish they were more readily available in shops. Surely that's a brand that deserves a nice little corner in Liberty's, non?
