I am a sucker for Christmas, and every year, I start the countdown on the 1st of November.
To maintain a decent level of festive spirit all the way till the end of December, there are certain things I need to do: start looking around for more decorations (this year, I am doing wooden toys - last year was Disco Xmas), decorating the house bit by bit, making Xmas themed playlists on iTunes, watching Xmas films, hunting for the perfect tree etc.
For this reason, tonight I went to Lou's house to watch Elf. I had never seen it before, and it made me want a polar bear.
Is it too much to ask for?
