Beauty – Flippin’ Perfect Hair with Nexxus

There are many things in this world I am not proficient in, I could go on about them, but I will instead sum it up with a quote from Amanda Lepore “I don’t know much about clothes, but my hair looks fierce“. And well… Even this most perfect quote isn’t the entire truth, my hair isn’t at all fierce all the time. It generally needs a good dose of product before getting to its optimal fierceness. My hair is sort of rubbish and great at the same time: it is naturally curly so it is very dry, meaning I don’t need to wash it everyday, most of the time I can get away with washing it once a week which dramatically brings down my blow-dry budget. I also have a lot of hair and it is super thick so I never have to think about volumising products and other dry shampoo at the roots tricks. The down side is that my hair, if left to its own devices, is an unruly frizzy mess. Some people can rock that look, but I really cannot. 

As you can probably imagine, I tried a LOT of things to tame the frizz, not always successfully… Sometimes it even had the opposite effect as curly hair likes to be left alone most of the time. With my hair being what it is, I am a little cynical when I read any claim on a product, so I put it to the test for the past few weeks… Lo and behold: it works! After the first use, my hair felt softer and a little less fluffy (I even asked my hairdresser friend for her opinion on it). After a couple weeks, I was able to air-dry my hair and with a little more help from the  it looked pretty damn good.
