Let’s face it, my pool attire generally includes a towel precariously wrapped around my waist and/or denim cut offs and a vest. But give me the opportunity to glam it up a little, even if just to entertain my family and I will happily oblige. I found out about Babajaan just before I left London. This luxurious swimwear and resort wear label, designed by Brazilian in London Sandra Moleirinho celebrates being yourself, enjoying time on the beach (and well… by the pool in my case) and embraces natural beauty. As far as swimwear (or anything) goes, this is a philosophy I can get behind.
The kaftan I am wearing in the photos is the Rio Kaftan Fringe and it is one of the loveliest things I ever got to wear poolside. It is light, extremely flattering and I can only imagine wouldn’t be out of place at a luxury resort. Perhaps I will bring it with me next time I visit the Beverly Hills Hotel!
Stockists include Harvey Nichols in the U.K., Scoop in New York and Barneys in Japan, alongside boutiques in iconic resorts including Sardinia, Los Cabos, St. Barths and St. Tropez. Babajaan’s complete collection will also be available to buy on its own e-commerce site, set to launch very soon – I will keep you in the loop…
