For someone who used to be a comic book devourer like me, the idea of a collection inspired by super heroes and realised in collaboration with Marvel aka the super hero factory is pretty exciting. The prints heavily feature techniques normally reserved for comics such as the Kirby dot developed by comic artist Jack Kirby, some half toning and CMYK printing.
I was sad not to be able to physically be at the Romance Was Born show at MBFWA in Sydney, mainly because I imagine the models went on the save the world once they got off the runway.

Les imprimés utilisent la technique dite du Kirby Dot, créée par Jack Kirby, ainsi que d’autres techniques normalement réservées aux comics comme le half toning ou encore le CMYK printing.
J’étais triste de ne pas pouvoir assister au défilé Romance Is Born en personne, particulièrement parce qu’en voyant les images je m’attendais à ce que les mannequins partent sauver le monde à la fin du show.
