Go Mod!

Last week, I was invited to the Westfield to take part in a little style challenge based on the major Fall trends. I was given the choice between Heritage, Mod, Sequins, Coats or Fur. Mod and Heritage were the two obvious ones for me and I would have loved to do both but I was only allowed one so I went with Mod as I figured it would be really fun to style up… and fun it was!
With a budget of £200 and about one hour (I couldn’t make it to the event from the very beginning), I decided to go for the obvious and familiar Topshop where I picked up the key piece of my Mod silhouette, a pair of ankle grazer trousers. Around half an hour later, I was carrying an armful of clothes and was ready to head back to the swanky Styling Suite to grab a bite and put on my glad rags.

The trousers were the starting point for two very different outfits: one really casual silhouette, verging on French New Wave and another one loosely inspired by a Diane Arbus photograph.
