The fox who was a bear

There is a cute story behind this blouse… Adeline emailed me a photo of it a while ago as she was trying it on in Oslo. I fell in love with it but thought it would sell out. Then on my birthday, I received a cute little parcel from Norway with the blouse in! It fits perfectly and is fast becoming one of my favourite items. How could it not? It has a bleeding fox on it. Or a bear as it says on the website.
It is part of the Weekday Collaboration collection and was designed by Mariel Manuel. I am not sure if she wanted the bleeding eyes/ red string to have a specific meaning, but I saw a friend yesterday who told me all about the Japanese meaning of it – at the end of the red ribbon is your soulmate.
Do you think that means I should tie it to my husband and have him dangling from my boobs all the time? I am sure he wouldn’t mind.
I am also pretty excited to show you this Miu Miu skirt that I found in a consignment shop in London last month. It was super discounted (£20!) and fulfills my need for a schoolgirl type skirt.
