Sometimes I burst out stuff on Twitter like “OMG I just found a vintage Calvin Klein dress in my favourite second-hand shop!!“. A deluge of requests for photos ensue – I always promise to do it and then I forget, I lose track of time and next thing I know I have even forgotten about my fabulous find.
But not this time. I have been planning to show you this dress for a while, I left it in the front of my closet to make sure I wouldn’t forget. I found it about a month ago in Bang Bang, I was drawn to the silk paisley fabric and it was only once in the changing room that I noticed the Calvin Klein tag peeking out. Double win.
Despite a perfectly “me” print, this dress is way out of my comfort zone: the midi almost maxi length, the weird collar shape, the shoulder pads (which I have now removed) would normally make me run away. BUT NOT THIS TIME (again). I thought I’d give it a go at this length and if I don’t like it, I can always shorten it a little.
Also: I finally took te plunge and I am posting some of my outfits on LookBook.nu, so if you are on there, you can fan/follow/friend me using the badge in the right sidebar. You can also “hype/like” my outfits directly using the LookBook buttons on here.
