A few months ago, when press days were turning into press weeks, I went to have a look at French Connection‘s offering for the new season. After their interesting rebranding last year, I was curious to see what they had in store for the colder months.
The collection doesn’t disappoint, it is very strong, with great basics, a few beautiful evening dresses and a lot of the pieces from the menswear section could also be easily added to a girl’s wardrobe. There are interesting prints that remind me of Miu Miu SS10 (always a good thing since that collection was a total dream).
I think the brand is successfully turning around, with a much more sophisticated and fashionable range. I will certainly be keeping an eye out for it in store.
French Connection’s new campaign has launched yesterday under the direction of Edu Grau (A Single Man) and it is beautiful. Those of you who follow me on Twitter or Facebook may have caught a glimpse of it yesterday already.
