2016 is shaping up to be an iconic year for trainers – and no I’m not talking about yeezy’s. As part of the ongoing 20th anniversary celebrations of cult trainer shop Offspring, the store have just launched details of their latest collaboration, this time with adidas.
They’ve chosen to work with the NMD, a shoe that earned its place in the trainer hall of fame not long after its debut. Way back in 1996 the most popular shoe was (thanks to Britpop) the desert boot. So this NMD iteration is a slick combination of these two disparate styles. Crafted from a premium beige nubuck material the shoe also features laser cut detailing, leather outsole patch and a dual branded adidas x Offspring insole with the original Neal Street store exterior landscape drawing.
The best of both worlds? Yeah you could say that. The shoe launches today and if you don’t move quickly you’ll miss out…these babies are seriously limited.
