There aren’t many fashion items that appeal to both Mini and me. Mostly because she is way cooler than I am. However, we agree on a few labels: Chanel is one of them (she already decided I was going to give her my vintage 2.55, even though she doesn’t really know what Chanel is) and the other one is Lazy Oaf. Two ends of the fashion spectrum unite us.
I have been a big fan of Lazy Oaf ever since I moved to London and stumbled upon their little shop (it was in Kingly Court at the time). It’s been a real joy to watch this little brand go from strength to strength, being picked up by huge international retailers and featured in magazines. It wasn’t exactly a surprise though: with such a unique perspective on life (hello googly eyes) and sense of humour, Lazy Oaf founder Gemma Shiel was destined for greatness.
To celebrate our mutual love of all things Lazy Oaf, Mini and I decided to “collaborate” on a little photoshoot and show you some of our favourite bits from SS16, including sunglasses from the Lazy Oaf x Poppy Lissiman capsule collection.
