January is always a pretty dreary month, not only is everyone on a Christmas and New Year hangover but to add insult to injury it’s cold and grey too. To keep my mind off this I’ve been checking out what SS16 has to offer us and I’m happy to report that the future looks bright and beautiful.
It’s hard not to smile when you see the bags and accessories from the SS16 collection by UTC 00. Fusing ultra-modern design with unabashedly bright colourways allows the brand to stand out amid the sea of black and brown that so often plagues the world of men’s accessories. But the joys of UTC 00 aren’t limited to aesthetics, on the contrary the brand deftly merge both form and function. Each bag exemplifies the kind of intuitive design that after a short period of use leaves you wondering how you ever lived without it.
I’m talking mostly about the bag collection here because bags are a particular obsession of mine, but I should mention that the brand are also launching a line of footwear for the first time this season, both trainers and sandals, which means my spring/summer wardrobe is pretty much sorted. Apart from clothes that is.
