I Carried A Watermelon

I sort of want to force you to listen to the Dirty Dancing soundtrack while reading this post because every time I carry this bag from mywalit’s fruit collection, all I can think about is this amazing (and totally nonsensical) exchange in Dirty Dancing between Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze. In case you haven’t seen Dirty Dancing, I don’t know you at all and I am not sure we can still hang out. I mean seriously. It’s not me, it’s YOU! All this was a very long story to try and explain that it is actually quite a logical thing for me to become infatuated with a watermelon slice shaped cross-body bag / clutch. In a way, if you knew me, and I mean REALLY knew me, you would realise this makes total sense. If your dress sense constantly pulls you towards really basic basics (this was on purpose) you really have to try and jazz it up somehow. I am sure I told you about jazzing it up with accessories before? Well let me tell you again: you have to jazz it up. And this means my closet mostly contains denim, black and white items of clothing and then hordes of extremely jazzy shoes and handbags. This is how I roll, deal with it *puts on sunglasses* *drops mic* *walks away*.
So I carried a watermelon, sadly it wasn’t to go and romance Patrick Swayze but just to amble around Los Angeles. And I figured perhaps you would like to know what I carry in my watermelon when I carry a watermelon!
In my bag (from top left, clockwise): Acne Studios wallet, , Rodial Glamstick in “Wet”, Ogami Notebook, Jessica de Lotz x Loulou Androlia Infinity Ring.
