Clearly this is the “new” thing to do: pretty and atmospheric videos to showcase a collection – or in Pringle’s case to capitalize on the starlet du jour and show what happens behind the scenes.
I had already showed you Filippa K‘s video for Fall, this is the Spring one and its haziness didn’t fail to seduce me. I am easily seduced, aren’t I?
Pringle is another story. I like the brand but I am not so sure about the video, something about it just seems a little off – maybe it is the obligatory “fashion lounge music” or maybe it is the slightly contrived voice-over at the very beginning. That’s a shame because the actual ad campaign looks good and I was more than willing to be transported by it like I did by Filippa K’s.
