It’s a rainy day today in Los Angeles, so how about we escape to Palm Springs to keep those Vitamin D levels up? Not just anywhere in Palm Springs, mind you… I would like to take you to the kitschy-chic Parker hotel, decorated by Jonathan Adler and its iconic restaurant: Norma’s. Not only is the place an Instagrammer’s wet dream, it is also your favourite pinterest board come to life. I realise this may not exactly be a selling point for most of you, but in all seriousness, if you are on an inspiration quest, this is where you want to stay/eat. From the carpeted stairs that look straight out of The Shining, to the retro-moroccan alcoves and vibrant tiki influences sprinkled around the hotel, the place really is a feast for the eyes.
The good news is that once your eyes have had enough, you can also just feast on the perfect brunch fare at Norma’s. It will most definitely break the bank, but it is an experience worth having.
