While some of us may be swanning around in the sunshine, the rest of us are stuck in gloomy London. Spring seems like some sort of urban myth – in the words of Prince Sometimes It Snows in April. By this point in the year I’ve usually started buying shorts and sunglasses but that seems like a fanciful notion. Nowadays British summers are a romantic pipe dream at best. But it’s not all bad news, Elvine have just launched here in UK, they’re a Swedish brand inspired by the subcultures of Gothenburg. In typical Scandinavian style the brand offer a gorgeous collection of clothes that beautifully marry both form and function. I’m swapping my summer clothes purchases for a bright yellow raincoat. You know it makes sense.
