Ok, how insanely ridiculously jealous AM I- firstly of the Prada shoes which sound absolutely TO DIE FOR but also of the Luella Vans which sound... well, just as equally to die for. I'm really hoping that you still have these trainers and wear them and that you haven't sold them and I missed it, since this post is like over a year old, and silly silly me, I only found your blog a couple of months ago. If you have sold them, I'm kicking the 'ignorant of this wonderful blog's existence' self.

i still have my luella vans but i wore them to skate in and they're kinda torn up. i'm desperate to find another pair because i love them to death! i wear them with everything - gray skinny jeans, short black apc skirt, vena cava dresses... love them.

I just stumbled upon your blog, and I love it! I, too, have a hard time wearing sneakers, I prefer ballet flats or boots. However, like susie_bubble, I have had the same pair of converse chucks for about 4 years and I wear these all the time! They are so gross but I can't let them go yet. Those gold vans are lovely though, great find =)

This is a great post, and this has happened to me so many times -- stuff I kept around for years seeming suddenly new and exciting again! Though it is a difficult balance between not keeping everything and keeping some things for a later date. We need to see pics of you in said sneakers!

Ca y est, je chante" sk8ter boy", c'est pas bien malin. De mon côté, j'ai depuis quelques mois des envies de Birkenstock et de Doc Martens, chaussures que je n'ai pas portées je crois depuis que nous sommes passés au nouveau siècle...
