Excuse me while I bask in the glory of this extra sporadic posting schedule… It feels pretty good after ten years to relax those blogging rules a little and write only when I actually have things I want to share… Today I want to share yet another interiors discovery with you. I know there’s been a lot of decoration content recently, but that’s just what happens when you spend 12 months researching and pinning interior stuff to deal with moving anxiety (it worked a treat).
Today, I am writing about Fort Standard, a New York based contemporary design studio founded by Gregory Buntain and Ian Collings. In their work they pair timeless materials with a modern process to create the “warm contemporary” aesthetic which caught my attention.
Their offerings range furniture essentials like dining tables, shelving, chairs and lighting to small accessories, all designed in an intelligent and considered way.
