This week, to celebrate the opening of a new Wolfgang Tillmans retrospective at the Tate Modern, I’m taking a look at some of my favourite Tillmans portraits, some of which you won’t see at the artist’s first Tate Modern show. The exhibition has already caused some controversy surrounding censorship which as far as I’m concerned makes it essential viewing.
